Grand Central DC Going Bald For Children's Cancer Research

Grand Central is  joining forces with St. Baldricks Foundation and Fado Irish Pub to raise money for children’s cancer research. Brian Vasile, Grand Central co-owner, is team captain for Team Adams Morgan. Bar staffs from Grand Central, Bedrock Billiards and The Blaguard (and more to come) are participating in getting their heads shaved!

“This is an act of solidarity and support”, says Brian. “If hair loss and baldness is one of the things these kids have to go through, then we will stand with them in this way.”

Even more importantly–and here is where you come in–Grand Central is helping to raise a total of $65,000 in this event. We need your help! We are excited about this undertaking, and will be looking to all of you to get involved, make a donation, and if you feel really bold, shave your head too and let us know!
